Our Purpose

To challenge and equip the youth for the development of godly character and biblical understanding, as they mature into adulthood. We provide a variety of opportunities for instruction, godly fellowship, and Christian service to seek to meet the need of every student – taking them from where they are and equipping them for a faithful response to Christ in all of life.

Our Commitments

We are committed to working with parents to provide a God-centered ministry to students in 7th - 12th grade that combines expository teaching of the Bible, practical Christian instruction in key areas facing teens, shepherding care, godly fellowship, compassionate outreach.

We proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Christ.

Colossians 1:28

As students enter into the adult world, our youth ministry is designed to meet the demands of Christ that they involve themselves in 4 primary areas:

  • Fellowship/Encouragement of one another
  • Instruction in Christian Truths
  • Service of Christ
  • Corporate Worship

Our Programs

Sunday Morning

The youth gather each Sunday morning at 9:00, during the Sunday School hour, for a time of fellowship, worship, and instruction in the Scriptures and how to apply those truths to their everyday life. During worshhip service, the youth join the rest of the church for corporate worship, prayer, and receiving instruction through expository preaching of the Word.

Sunday Evening

Jr High Quest (6:00 - 7:00) – All Jr High students are encouraged to participate in the Quest Program of Scripture memory and application.

Sr High Small Groups (6:00 - 7:00) – Students who want to dig a little deeper are encouraged to sign up for a Discipleship Group, where small, gender-specific groups are led through a book or study dealing with a particular facet of the Christian life. This is a great place to ask questions and receive personal encouragement in the struggle of living for Christ. (Those who are not in Quest or D-Groups are encouraged to actively participate with the rest of the adults in the Evening Worship service).

F.I.S.H. (7:00 - 9:00, twice each month) – Fellowship In Someone's Home (or often now in the church gym) is a time for the youth to share a meal together in an informal and fun environment and build relationships with one another. We usually share a meal, hear a testimony, and have some fun (you just never know what the game might be!!) Come join us, and bring a friend!

Periodic Activities

Community service activities, evangelistic opportunities, fun outings, retreats, mission projects, informal gatherings, discipleship relationships all designed to facilitate relationship-building, instruction, service, and worship of Jesus.
